Initiated in 1994, our Mortgage Program provides surety bonds for Brokers, Bankers/Lenders, Servicers, Correspondent Lenders, and Loan Officers. It's one of our oldest programs, and its introduction brought more realistic underwriting and more competitive pricing to the mortgage industry. We became and remain a premier source for mortgage bonds as our combination of superior service, underwriting flexibility, and competitive pricing has benefited clients nationwide. The experience and credit of the business owner(s) are our basic underwriting considerations. Often, no financial information is required for smaller bonds. In many cases, we will not need personal financial information or guarantees. Typically, an underwriting response can be obtained in less than 24 hours! The landscape of the mortgage industry has changed dramatically in recent years, and in the midst of this turmoil, the underwriting requirements of some bonding companies have changed dramatically as well.
